The "Youtube Transcript" extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal user data to external servers. All processing happens locally on your device.

2. Permissions

The extension requires the following permissions:

• activeTab: To detect the current YouTube video and extract its ID.
• scripting: To fetch the transcript data from the YouTube page context.

These permissions are used strictly for the functionality of the extension (fetcing transcripts) and for no other purpose.

3. Third-Party Services

The extension interacts directly with YouTube's internal APIs to retrieve transcript data. We do not use any analytics or tracking services.
